  It's a beautiful garden. It is a lot of walking. It was alittle breezy and cold in the morning around 9-11:30 am but then the heat did pick up around lunch time.( I live in California and I get cold really fast so take that as you will) I think the max of the day was going to be 88° Fahrenheit that day. So if you plan to stay longer walking make sure you take a hat/umbrella and/or your fans. Also a little disappointed with not a lot of refillable water stations. Or areas to buy waters. I do understand because of the conservation of the beautiful gardens so just be aware of that and being plenty of water. Limited bathrooms as well. There is also an option to rent a little golf cart if you dont want to do too much walking at an additional cost.

  To go to the gate, the tickets work very well!. The problem is to have tickets only 24 hours in advance. Very stressful, when you are traveling to another country and you end up with little electronic bugs or no Printing Service.... It would be much easier to have them at the time of purchase instead of making us wait up to 24 hours before the event!

  Unfortunately we were informed at short notice that the times for our entrance to the Palace of Versailles are changing. We had booked especially in the morning as we travel on at noon. So we could not visit the castle and the organizer was not willing to compensate us for the costs...

  I bought the entrance to the palace of Versailles, said that there was the option of entering the gardens and palace. They just sent the ticket to the gardens, I could not enter the palace and still was 9€ more expensive than if I had bought the ticket at the entrance. To the gardens there are always tickets, I bought online because I wanted to visit the palace and couldn't.
