In addition to unique and charming views, the salt mine also has health properties. It has its own unique microclimate that has a beneficial effect on everyone and above all, alleviates respiratory problems.
When you finish exploring the mine, take a lift upstairs by "Szola" which is an old traditional, industrial elevator for miners.

5.00Excellent trip that was a pleasure to attend! Picked up from our Hotel on time by Margaret who was very knowledgeable about the tour we were on to the salt mines. We were a group of 10 friends who all had a great trip. We would recommend this tour to anyone. The Salt mines are a must see if your in the area you will be blown away at the scale of the Mines. Margaret was breath of fresh air, She also recommended several Polish restaurants for us to try( we all wanted to try a traditional Polish meal) before our trip back to the UK Thanks again

5.00Would have to recommend the salt mine tour to anyone on a city break to Krakow. A unique attraction and very interesting. The thousand miles tour operator provided all that was required, including prompt transfers and tickets. Special mention to Olaf our tour driver who picked us up on time and escorted us to the attraction entrance. Olaf also was very informative and enthusiastic, explaining everything and passing on his extensive local knowledge of Krakow. A great experience!!!!
