Join us on this wonderful journey during which you will visit one of the greatest sites in Poland on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Wieliczka Salt Mine and learn about its wonders from a certified guide!
In addition to seeing breathtaking views of the mine, you will also learn about the rich history of this place.
While exploring the labyrinth of corridors, caves and chambers you will be amazed by the unique beauty of chapels carved entirely from rock salt, crystal salt chandeliers, and many artistic salt works with a historical message. Let yourself be enchanted by the mine's underground lakes sparkling with a mysterious glow.
In addition to unique and charming views, the salt mine also has health properties. It has its own unique microclimate that has a beneficial effect on everyone and above all, alleviates respiratory problems.
When you finish exploring the mine, take a lift upstairs by "Szola" which is an old traditional, industrial elevator for miners.

It is a very interesting excursion near Krakov (15 mins by car). 2h walking in the salt mine where the temperature is confortable, the story is well perceived and the view is amazing. We booked through Booking.com, which also provided the transfer from the center of Krakov (thanks Olaf for all the information provided and the perfect organisation).

Falsy advertised max 16 people per group we had 39 people in our group. We couldn't hear the tour guide 75% of the time. The radio always cut off because the group size 39 people instead of 16 was too big. The headphones don't stay in the ear. Everybody in the group had issue with that. These have round the whole experience. If we would have known the real group size we wouldn't have taken the tour with this provider. As far as we could tell the guide was knowledgeable. We do not recommend this tour due to the group size and the horrible communication through the radio.

Really interesting experience. We loved the mines, the tour lasts a few hours and the guide who accompanies is very prepared! Thanks also to the girl of the transfers from the hotel to the mine, very kind and very helpful!

A well organised, fun and informative trip to the salt mines. Simon, the guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Although I’m still not sure if the dragon story is true or not! 🤣. Recommend the trip and the company to anyone staying in or around Krakow.

This was a fantastic tour. Margaret was such a great host for us - from picking us up, to giving us a lot of background and historical information - and overall data about the mines and Krakow. A true guide! The salt mines are totally worth it - the views are quite unexpected and unique, but require some walking - do make the time to visit the museum as well, after the visit.

Great trip really enjoyed it! Our driver Pawel also went above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible, even gave some useful information of other things to do and try whilst I was in Krakow. Would definitely recommend!

Our driver Pawel was outstanding! He welcomed us very well and made us feel at ease, also recommended many places that unfortunately for lack of time we could not do them, but if we happen again to return to Krakow, I would choose him 1000 times! Super recommended!
