  • Great experience!

Excellent tour with lots of variety. We saw a clog being made where we learned the history of why they were clogs. We learned much about cheese and sampled a great number of types. Then we had free time to wander around Zaanse Schans and just loved the little town. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgable as well.

  • Poor organization and misleading instructions

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. We arrived at the meeting point on time, but the office was closed and there was only a small sign saying to wait. At departure time (1:30), we were later told it was actually 4:30, but by then the bus had already left. When I spoke with the company, they said there was nothing they could do. It was very confusing and disappointing as we had planned our day around this trip

A very popular place for families to visit. If you go in the morning, be prepared for heavy crowds. When we arrived at 10AM, the bus lot was full. I would recommend going in the afternoon if you struggle with crowds.

Not really a windmill tour. Once you finish w the cheese shop and shoe demonstration you only have 30-45 min to see the windmills. An ok tour but a little disappointing.

  • Fun day to the windmills
