  Wonderful experience! Sirena station is beautiful, and the wildlife is spectacular. The lunch at San Pedrillo station is great, and the hike through the jungle is beautiful. The stay at San Pedrillo is much nicer than expected, although being in a group of 6 definitely helped. The dinner and breakfast provided was delicious, and the hike to the waterfall the following morning was a perfect ending to the hike. We got to see a huge variety of animals, including 4 different Tapir sightings, one of which was in the San Pedrillo ranger station! A brilliant experience and definitely worth the expense! The only pertinent negative was the 2 tick bites my wife got on the hike, something to watch out for!

  We booked the 2 day tour with Top Trails Corcovado and couldn't be happier about it. Our two tour guides were amazing, particularly Carolina. You just wanted to hear more from her. We learned so much and she was great at transmitting her passion for nature and sustainability to us. We loved being able to walk among wild animals in Sirena. Meals were good, and very proactively thought for any particular needs or allergies. We finished our first day at Casa Drake where even more wild animals popped up from time to time. Casa Drake is where we were able to finally see a tapir, and when we least expected her! I really recommend this tour, I already did to all my friends :)

  Unfortunately the guide from Top Adventures didn’t spoke English good enough. The least you may expect from an expensive 2 days tour. He was very much in a hurry and didn’t gave much information about the rainforest and its wildlife. It was a tough hike, although the primary rainforest was very beautiful but you should book the tour not with Top Adventures.

  The most memorable is the diversity of the nature, the explanation about several plants, the challenging hiking in some parts and the tasty food at the stations. That kind of tours is the best activity type you can do to make the most of your Drake Bay stay.

• Overnight in Corcavado

  We did a 1 night 2 day trip. It entailed lots of hiking- about 20km total. Our guide was knowledgeable but seemed to be in a rush so that we didn't get to see as much as we had hoped. Our accommodations were better than expected. The food was also top-notch. I did end up getting diarrhea, however (a mild case).
