I Highly recommend this tour. Giuseppe was fantastic! He took us to two small villages that were filled with old culture and charm. We sampled the local bread fresh from the bakery oven! The winery in the cave was amazing. We went into the dark recesses to see bottles which were a hundred of years old. It was backlit with red lights for a dramatic presentation.

One of the best experiences if you enjoy wine … and who doesn’t!! Enrique was a really great host and took us to see the vines and learn about the wine growing conditions of Spain. As a qualified wine maker he was able to share many stories about the history and agricultural conditions. It was really very interesting. We then went and visited a small town where we visited two fabulous wineries. We have been to many wineries in Australia and to see the difference was quite fantastic. We were able to visit the cellars in the underground caves which was like nothing we’d ever seen. The wines and food were generous and Enrique was a very kind and accomodating host. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a small group looking for a leisurely paced wine tasting experience at a couple of places less than an hour from Madrid. No time pressure and very friendly and informative guides. Driver and guide Andrea went above and beyond to make our day excellent with our father who has mobility issues. If anyone in your group has mobility issues, you should ask questions ahead of time and be prepared to miss out on certain parts of the tours, as should be expected when visiting places with hills and stairs and caves etc. We understood this going in and adapted to the circumstances by enjoying what we could while also understanding that there are simply some limitations and that’s ok! Great wine and good people makes up for missing an extra underground wine cave here or there.

Excellent tour. Gispetti was very knowledgeable about wine and Spanish history. Both wineries were unique experiences. Our favorite was DI Nero with delicious tapas at both wineries. We had time to stop in a few small towns and enjoyed the countryside during the drive.

It was an experience that I recommend, is to see the manufacture of the wines in their traditional form, harvest the grapes in an ecological and natural environment and preserve them in the ancient giant vats.

BOOK IT!! This is the perfect half day tour to get the countryside winery experience. Enrique was so kind and made sure our group was well taken care of. I had my 4 year old with us and one of the wineries had a kids area with a swing set and trampoline. Plus the owner gave my kid an adorable coloring set to occupy her during the tasting! Ample wine so, like they say, eat a good breakfast!! So much fun an an experience we will not forget.

My husband and I had a beautiful day with Enrique exploring two very special wineries where we got to personally meet the vineyard/winery owners and wine makers, at wineries that have been in the same family for multiple generations. We tasted a variety of wines and learned about the winemakers different processes. Enrique lives locally and is a winemaker himself, and he has a deep wealth of knowledge about the region and the areas wines. He has personal relationships with the winemakers so you get a behind the scenes feel for the culture of winemaking here. We also visited a Chinchon, a picturesque local village with a medieval history and bullfighting ring (temporarily erected, but about to come down so that the village could again use the square). Please note - this is NOT a big corporate company that outsources the tours to contracted guides. This is Enrique's own small business and passion - he runs a small, boutique, local business, so if you book this tour you not only get a very unique, personalized experience, you are also supporting a locally-owned and run business. I highly recommend!!!

What an amazing experience! Correspondence prior to the trip with Enrique was excellent, and our guide on the day Antonio was fantastic. Both wineries were beautiful, and all 15 of us loved the experience.
