Long drives in bus to important locations. Our tour guide was very good at providing background and historical context for each place we visited. Very enjoyable and edifying

There is a lot of time allowed for eating and shopping, and the amount of time devoted to the guided tour is limited. The English tour I signed up for was actually in English/Spanish/French/some Italian. The accent was difficult to understand, which may have led to confusion about meeting times and places. Hotel location was near popular sites we could not visit, most restaurants and shops were closed. If you want to actually experience the museums at the sites, no time is allowed for that. Several stops were for photos only. This was disappointing for me. If you want a lot of time to eat and shop, and the sites are not very important, this would be a good tour for you.

I wish we spent less time in Rouen and Honfleur in order to have more time at the American Cemetary and Omaha Beach. Also, our tour guide was not very effective at keeping the group together, and did not seemed concerned when some members lost the group and missed out on some things. The sites that we saw (both stops and pass-bys) were all very interesting.
