We joined a private Iceland tour arranged by Shei and guided by Jói at Artic Adventures. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. The itinerary was tailored to our preferences, and Shei handled hotel and restaurant bookings, making the trip easy to manage. Our guide Jói was professional, experienced, and drove safely and efficiently through winter roads. He managed the trip well and added a personal touch by bringing us to one of his favorite local restaurants, which we really appreciated. We explored the South Coast, waterfalls, ice caves, volcano craters, and the Golden Circle, with a special mention to Sturlureykir Horse Farm — an authentic and heartwarming stop we highly recommend. If there's one thing that could be improved, it would be more proactive communication about logistics, timing and options. For example, we might have skipped the hot springs since we weren't using them, and planned differently had we known about the short breakfast time before the glacier tour. Overall, it was a well-organized, very comfortable, and memorable private tour.
