What To Expect
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Please Note: Tian'anmen Square might close without advance notice due to the government activity, if this happened we will take you walk around the Square and offer commentary) After picking you up from your hotel in Beijing, head to the Tienanmen Square directly, home to the National Museum of China. Please note this tour including tour guide meet you in the lobby of your hotel, but please pay your own transportation fee(You can choose to use a taxi(at your own expense) or walk to Tian'anmen Square. If there is anything you particularly want to see, feel free to let your guide know. The best thing about having a private guide is that the tour can be tailored to the things that interest you the most. This tour including special skip-the-line access which help you beat the crowds and save time to explore. Your tour will start from Qianmen (Front Gate), follow your tour guide to walk through Tiananmen Square. Get to know the the stories of the surrounding buildings.

5.00This was the best tour I’ve ever taken, and I’ve been all over the world. Our guide Lilly was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and spent time making sure we saw everything we wanted and had a great personal touch. The Forbidded City is an absolute must, and to have a great guide like Lilly is a true delight. She even took us to a great restaurant and made sure we enjoyed our traditional Chinese lunch. 5.00Great tour of Tiananmen Square and Palace Museum! Our tour guide was Claire, she was very informative, friendly and patient with us as we asked many questions and took time taking photos/videos! We went to visit during a public holiday and we were able to enter without difficulty and see all the main areas of the forbidden city! We were informed if you attempt to do these locations without a guide, you will go through many security checks and have a long wait. We highly recommend this four hour tour, it was enough time to see the two locations!
We had such a great tour with Cindy, so we booked her again for another tour!

5.00As per the title, we had a really great tour with Cindy, who was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The Forbidden Palace has so much rich history and Cindy explained it to us all. We learnt an incredible amount on that day and really got on with Cindy, we felt she was an excellent guide. Cindy took us to one of her favourite local restaurants and it was definitely one of the food highlights of our trip, the food was just out of this world. The driver Mr Chen was very polite, friendly and professional too. An all round brilliant and welcoming experience, the hospitality shown on this tour was another level. We got talking to Cindy about other places and she mentioned she could do a tour for us, as soon as she said that it was a no brainer! So about a week or so later, we did a Summer Palace/Panda Garden tour with Cindy too, and driver Mr Han. Amazing! Mr Han was a very hospital and professional guide, taking good care of us. Cindy took us to the same restaurant again (at our request) and it was even better than the first time! We plan on going back to Beijing again next year and will be reaching out to Cindy for another tour.
