What To Expect
Mount Lofty Summit
Subject to a clear weather we stop here for an amazing view over Adelaide City and suburbs. From a 710 m altitude you can see Adelaide City, Airport, Port Adelaide, Glenelg and other important points of interest.
Bridgewater Mill
Set in the charming town of Bridgewater in the rambling scenery of the Adelaide Hills, this old mill dates back to 1860. John Dunn, a mill engineer from Devonshire, built the mill. He built a number of flour mills throughout Australia, but the Bridgewater Mill is by far his most famous. Before getting there we would go via scenic drive through picturesque villages of Stirling and Aldgate.

5.00A most enjoyable trip tailored to our choice of destinations. Bob was very knowledgeable and made us feel very relaxed enabling us to enjoy Mount Lofty, Nepenthe winery, Hahndorf town and the beautiful scenery within the Adelaide Hills.

5.00A wonderful afternoon. We enjoyed our drive around The Hills up to Mt Lofty, we did a wine tasting at The Lane then ventured into Hahndorf for a nice walk around. We had time to do another tasting but as the temperature was in the high 30’s we did not really feel like it. We asked our driver Bob from SaviConnect for another suggestion well that was amazing he took us to a hidden gem where we had the best home made fruit ice cream. A wonderful way to end our busy day - thank you

5.00We had a super day in Adelaide Hills. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable about the city and its history and made the drive from the port to the hills interesting. Our stop at Mt. Lofty was disappointing because of the clouds, but our two stops at wineries were great. We learned a lot about the Adelaide Hills wine industry in comfortable tasting rooms. Hahndorf was a little too touristy for us, but our lunch at the German Arms was everything we hoped for. Our driver was prompt on picking us up. The car was comfortable and in excellent condition. Thanks for a beautiful day!

5.00We were in Adelaide for the first time and therefore decided to go on a private tour. This was the best decision! We were contacted directly by the provider shortly after booking and were able to communicate our individual wishes immediately. There were three of us traveling with our 14 year old son. There was something for each of us. A visit to a winery, chocolate factory and tasting of local cheeses as well as a magnificent view of Adelaide have rounded off the tour. Bob our tour guide has been able to tell us a lot about Adelaide, the surrounding area and wineries. So if you are planning a super personal tour, this is the place for you. 5.00What a fabulous day we had in Eden Valley visiting Henshke Wines followed by Pike & Joyce for lunch in Adelaide Hills. Bob was just terrific walking me thru options for the day, timing & costs prior to our visit & on the morning we were to visit was out the front of our hotel waiting for us to go. Incredibly polite, timely & knowledgeable which made for the best day. Throughly recommend for any visit whilst in Adelaide

5.00A fabulous girls weekend made even more fabulous with 2 full days with Bob as our driver and guide. Bob showed us through Hahndorf, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and the Barossa. I highly recommend a trip with Bob who will tailor a trip just how you want it.

5.00Bob is a fantastic driver and tour guide who will ensure your winery tour is a fantastic day out! My partner and I booked a very last minute tour of the Adelaide Hills with Bob. Bob was quick to reply, had clear communication in the lead up to the day, arrived early, drove very safely with a good knowledge of the area, and was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. We had originally debated over the price, but it was worth every cent and we did not regret our decision - it was like having a friend on the tour with us and we could not have asked for a better guide. We highly recommend Bob for small tours (ie partners, small group of friends) where his conversation, personality and knowledge can really shine. Bob’s additional tour information and relationships at the wineries really added so much value to our day.

5.00This is the second trip from Sydney where we have used Savviconnect. Highly recommend, we had a great day in the Hills on a private tour in bobs brand new car. We had some flight delays and Bob was more than happy to adjust the plan which we were very grateful for.
