Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
We will meet at the entrance of Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall at 8:30,walk to Tiananmen Square, the political center of China. To the west is the Great Hall of the People, the national power institution where the annual congress is held. To the east is the National Museum, showcasing China's 5,000 years of history to the world. In the center of the square are the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall ,and to the north is the Tiananmen Gate Tower. Passing through Tiananmen Gate, you will arrive at the Palace Museum, which was built during the Ming Dynasty. The emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived and worked here, and the entire complex is magnificent and well-arranged, with distinct functions for each area. The East and West Palaces are especially unique. In the Imperial Garden, ancient trees reach for the sky. Finally, you visit Jingshan Park to view the central axis of Beijing and take in the panoramic view of the Forbidden City, concluding our delightful journey.
Jingshan Park
Jingshan Park is located in the heart of Beijing, right next to the north gate of the Forbidden City. It's a beautiful park known for its stunning views and rich history. The main highlights of Jingshan Park include: Jingshan Hill: This artificial hill stands about 45 meters high and offers a panoramic view of Beijing from the top, including the Forbidden City and other parts of the city. Greenery and Gardens: The park is lush with vegetation and features lovely gardens, with seasonal flowers that bloom at different times, providing a colorful landscape. Cultural Activities: The park often hosts various cultural events and celebrations, including traditional Chinese festivals, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Chinese culture.
