This was a great experience. Definitely recommend the zip lining and hot springs. Our guide Stephen was friendly and answered any questions we had. He was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The tour’s itinerary is poorly designed. The zip line was the main reason we decided to spent the entire day on this tour and thus paid a lot of money for this tour (I believe everyone does), and yet we couldn’t do it because the driver made too many unnecessary stops and we lost a lot of time in each of them. We felt rushed the entire time and the activities were simply not enjoyable. From the 14ish hours this tour lasted, we spent 10 inside the van, at tourist shops and at lunch/dinner places. In summary, avoid this tour if you want to pay for being driven from your hotel back and forth without enjoying what its “promised”. We returned to our hotel at almost 10 pm (14 hours) WE DEMAND OUR MONEY BACK!!

Alex was is the best guide and driver that you could possibly ask for. He is very knowledgeable about about the local history and wildlife. We wear treated to numerous opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature and amazing animals. Alex has a deep caring about the guest and their personal experience during our excursion. I gave Alex a new name. Mr Sloth because of our once in a lifetime personal experience with Sloths. If you want an experience that you will never forget you should choose this excursion and Alex as your guide.

I cannot express how absolutely incredible this tour was. My friend and I booked it because we were only in Costa Rica for the weekend and wanted to see as much as possible and we absolutely picked the right tour for that. Our guide, Harlem, was SO passionate and cared so much about our experience. We stopped multiple times to be able to see wildlife when that technically wasn’t even a part of the tour. We got to see sloths, toucans, howler monkeys, iguanas, and macaws all because Harlem was constantly looking out for them on our drive. After your guide picks you up you drive for a little bit to the coffee farm, which was gorgeous and the coffee was delicious. It was the perfect stop on what would have otherwise been a pretty long drive. Similarly with the waterfall. It was so beautiful to see and take pictures at. After the waterfall we stopped for a mid morning snack of what was similar to an arepa plus fresh squeezed juices all while watching the flutters of hummingbirds coming and going. From there we drove longer to our lunch stop through the mountains and volcanos while Harlem gave us so much history and fun facts. There were multiple options to choose from for our food at lunch. And the food was simple and classic Costa Rican food, but it was also delicious! After lunch you’re taken to the zip line. This course had 7 zip lines, including the longest in the country! The employees here were so friendly and cared a lot about your wellbeing. My friend and I were so scared and they were so great about it. They have the flow down to a science and it was incredible how quickly they got such a large group through the course. I didn’t feel rushed at all though, it was actually so nice that you didn’t stand around waiting all day. After the zip line you’re taken to this GORGEOUS resort and spa to enjoy the hot springs. It wasn’t crowded at all and between all the different pools, hot tubs, swim up bars, and insane volcano views, we never wanted to leave. After this beautiful and perfect day you start to make your way back to San Jose, where you stop halfway for dinner. There were also multiple options for dinner and again, it was classic Costa Rican cuisine but it was delicious! Yes, you are in the van quite a bit throughout the day but that’s because the things you are signing up to see and do are simply that far away! Harlem and our driver did a fantastic job of breaking it up, plus it was gorgeous views to watch out the windows. And again yes, the roads are windy and you definitely could possibly get car sick. You are driving around and through volcanos and mountains. The tour did not create the roads. Just make sure you pack Dramamine / Zofran if this is an issue for you so that you can be comfortable! And yes, it was a very long day. But you did EVERYTHING. Nap in the van if you’re sleepy. Not only would I recommend this tour to others, I would literally take the tour again myself. If you like adventure and want to see the most possible in one day this is absolutely for you.

Amazing adventure with nature and adrenaline. Our guide Harlem was amazing and passionate. We got the thrill of zip lining, relaxation at hot springs. What stood out was the stops where we got to see sloth, humming birds, monkeys and tucán. Everything was so well timed that it did not seem crowded or time pressured. It’s a long day but worth it.
