Aquaventure Waterpark is home to some iconic record-breaking rides and attractions. Located next to Atlantis, The Palm, get the most out of your holiday at this much–loved landmark. The enormous theme park features marine activities, private beaches, cool waterslides, and children's play areas for all ages. You can dive into old favorites like the Leap of Faith, a 27.5m plunge that carries you through a clear tube surrounded by sharks and rays, or try some of the many adrenaline–pumping activities such as zip–lining across the park. For an even wilder experience, visitors can swim safely with sharks, or hand-feed-friendly cow–nose stingrays. Although children need to be taller than 1.2m to enjoy many of the park's slides, little ones will delight in the Splashers Children's Play Area, a maze of kid–friendly tunnels, tubes, slides, and climbing frames. Access is free for in-house guests of Atlantis, The Palm, while daily passes are available for visitors.
More than just a place to see fish, the Lost Chambers Aquarium is (allegedly) the actual home of the lost city of Atlantis. This mythical dimension gives Lost Chambers extra oomph. Plus, there are more than 65,000 exotic and fascinating marine animals. Prepare for undersea adventure! In keeping with the Atlantis theme (which they do throughout), the aquarium is laid out as a series of tunnels and mazes. So you're constantly exploring underwater worlds, and feeling like an intrepid adventurer and a marine biologist - sort of a Jacques Cousteau/Indiana Jones hybrid. This delightful conceit sets the stage for the stars of the show to shine. Lit to highlight the strange and wonderful sea creatures who call this place home, you'll find yourself sucked into the world of the deep, as well as learning about the lives of the sea creatures. If you want to go 'full Atlantean' there are also hourly Myth Tours that focus on the legendary lost city.
