Save time and experience these two activities in one day in only 8-hour total time from Reykjavik.
You will be picked up by the ATV operator and driven to their brand new headquarters with free hot coffee available. These headquarters is the most advanced in it's field.
You will begin the day by being briefed by the atv operator and they will teach you on how to operate the ATV and safety instructions. Then you will be driven through Icelandic nature and make your ascend to Reykjavik Peak Mountain.
This is a 1-hour ATV adventure through the Icelandic wilderness, experience a amazing view over Reykjavik.
Afterwards you will be dropped off the Whale Watching. You should have some time to get some light lunch downtown as their HQ is downtown. After the tour the Whale watching team will drop you off at your hotel.
This tour is combined with both the most experienced ATV operator & Whale Watching in Iceland.

What To Expect
PART 1 – QUAD BIKING BEYOND REYKJAVIK It’s no more than 15 minutes from your Reykjavik accommodation to our quad biking base camp. That’s why we love this city! Having picked you up*, we’ll take you to the camp for gear, instructions and safety training. No experience is necessary and our expert guides will make sure you know everything you need for a safe and fun ATV adventure. OFF-ROAD ATV FUN IN ICELAND We will drive off-road on a variety of terrains as we head for Ulfarsfell mountain. The ride to the top is a chance to experience the true thrills of quad biking. And when you get there, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view across the whole city, the ocean, and the surrounding mountains. LUNCH IN REYKJAVIK HARBOR The old harbor is one of the coziest parts of town. There’s a nice selection of little restaurants and cafes, and we’re happy to make recommendations. While you refuel, you can look out across the bay and imagine the magnificent creatures that swim below the surface. PART 2 – WHALE WATCHING BEYOND REYKJAVIK HARBOR The boat is waiting as you head off in search of magnificent Minke whales and the other rich marine life of Faxafloi Bay. A 3-hour guided sea tour provides a fascinating insight into the life of the sea, and great views back to Reykjavik. Whales are a lot harder to predict than quad bikes, so sightings are never guaranteed! Cross your fingers that Mother Nature is feeling generous! Tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.

5.00Safari Quads is such an amazing experience. My wife and experienced Safari Quads on our very first visit to Iceland and I would recommend them 100% every time and plan on coming back for an additional tour with Paula. The route to the mountain view was so breathtakingly beautiful. Paula, was very prompt on picking us up for the excursion as well as accommodating our luggage since we were ending a cruise. Her knowledge, safety, and informative dialogue throughout the tour was received so well. I look forward to touring with her again when I return to Iceland. 👍🏾🫶🏾✋🏾 Huge high five again Paula, and the 4 signal section was so Amazing!!!

5.00Our ATV experience was great! Both of us had never done an ATV tour before this so we didn’t know what to expect, but it was so much fun. We were so lucky we got beautiful sunny weather. The views were incredible, and we ended up being paired with only one other couple making it feel a little more like a private experience. Our guide Gonzalo was wonderful. The instructions were clear, and he checked in a few times throughout the tour to make sure everything was going well. We also got really nice pictures at the top thanks to him. We booked the ATV & whale watching package with pickup and drop off which was so nice and convenient. We were picked up at a bus stop right outside of our hotel to get to the ATVs and dropped off at the next activity after we were done. The whale watching portion was also amazing. Again, we were very lucky and had some great sightings. Definitely recommend booking a tour with Safari Quads!

5.00Kaktus was the Guide. He was very friendly and funny. Really enjoyed the trip. The weather was not so good and the whale watching was cancelled. Therefore the ATV tour with wind and rain was a great experience. I really liked it and will return for sure. Kaktus made a good introduction to the ATVs and guided our small group in a great pace according to what we could afford. Thank you for the trip and the fun we had.

5.00What a great trip. We were picked up at our hotel and given a ride to our next excursion. The guides were great. We were given complete instruction on the bikes. But to be able to see Iceland from the top of the mountain was the best.
