Jingshan Park
Jingshan Park - A Brief IntroductionSituated in the heart of Beijing, Jingshan Park is a historic oasis. Once an imperial garden for the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was built using earth from the Forbidden City's construction, forming a central hill offering panoramic views of the palace complex. Today, the 23-hectare park combines ancient relics (including 500-year-old bronze lions and stone inscriptions) with lush greenery, seasonal flowers, and cultural exhibitions. Its hilltop pavilions provide a unique vantage point to admire both traditional and modern cityscapes. A bridge between history and contemporary life, Jingshan Park remains a tranquil haven in Beijing’s bustling center.
Mutianyu Great Wall
70km NE of Beijing. Best-preserved, scenic Ming Dynasty section. Features dense watchtowers (22 in 2.5km), lush forests. Unique "Three-Watchtowers-in-One". Accessible by cable car/chairlift; descend via toboggan. Offers hiking, stunning views, rich history. Less crowded alternative.
