Rare bucket list item to check off for foreigners who not only want bragging rights to say that they've driven in Tokyo but also to enjoy the coziness of a smaller vehicle more low to the ground while driving on the busy streets. Safety is maintained and plenty of opportunities for pics are given when cued by the chaperone. No need to worry about being left behind and driving through areas of Shibuya and Shibuya adjacent like Harajuku, you'll see landmarks and experience the busy vibes of the town for that authentic experience.

This was so much fun. We felt like we were living in the Mario Kart world as we zipped through the streets of Tokyo. And we drove right through Shibuya Crossing as well! People waved and took pictures. Other drivers took out their cameras at stop lights to take pictures as well. Just our presence put smiles on the faces of people on the sidewalks as they waited for the lights to change. It was great. And our guide spoke perfect English and stopped to take pictures along the way. It was nice, because we didn't need to worry about taking out our own phones (and possibly dropping them). And the pictures at the end were free. I would also recommend shelling out a couple extra bucks for the GoPro footage. It was great to look back at the video and relive our time cruising through the streets of Tokyo. If you're even considering doing this tour...Do it!

There are many Go Karting companies in Tokyo, however, Monkey Kart has the total package!!! They have costumes, pictures, lighted, fast, and cool looking Karts!! Our Kart instructors, Rafael and Rakesh were top notch!!! We were a bit on edge if we could safely cart in the rain and they reassured us that they would not cart in unsafe conditions. They also allowed our 23 yr old son ride on the back of their lead spider motorcycle to take videos. Our son could not partake in the go karts because he did not have his international drivers permit on him. So make sure you don’t forget to bring it!!! Thanks again Rafael and Rakesh….you guys are the BEST!!
