The museum was extremely crowded, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the exhibits. Our guide was reasonably well-organized, but the tour lacked depth and engagement. The commentary felt generic—no memorable facts, personal insights, or storytelling to bring the displays to life. Overall, a functional but uninspiring. I was expecting much more from this tour and museum.

Perfect overview of British Museum. Antonio was extremely knowledgeable — depth and breadth. He also was sensitive to cultural differences/stances on the history, origin and ownership of the artifacts. A rich jumping off point for further exploration on our own.

A guided tour is a very good way to visit British Museum. James was a very good guide who gave a brillant introduction to the enormous exhibition. The group should not be more than 10 persons especially not when the museum is crowded. This should not be needed for a price of 36 Pounds per person. Our group had 16 booked participants but fortunately 3 did not show up.

I liked that the guide took us to the main things in some of the galleries and then we continued at own pace.

Very knowledgeable guide who did a great job moving us through the museum. I felt like we got a very good sampling in our two hour time together.
