Bruny Island
We begin our adventures on the island with a spectacular hike highlighting the amazing coastal scenery. We follow the Cape Queen Elizabeth trail. We don’t complete the full walk today, we walk to Mars Bluff, Miles Beach, the unique rock formations and then return. The first 30 - 40 minutes of the walk is an easy stroll along a wide, sandy track that takes you towards the beach through coastal heathland. We pass between Big Lagoon and Little Lagoon, home to a large number of water birds. A 10 minute uphill hike takes us over Mars Bluff, where the elevation provides a beautiful vantage of the surrounding coast. We walk down onto remote Miles Beach and explore the unique rock formations. We have plenty of time to take in this wonderful location, photograph the Arch before returning back to the start of the trail. The walk we complete is a total of around 6 kilometres, and is classified as easy to moderate, coastal walking.

This tour operator is very rude. They are not friendly at all. I won’t recommend this for anyone. They took money from me and left me without picking me on the tour day with rude behaviour. When requested for a refund, their response is not good at all. Talking in rude manner. I am not at all happy with Viator also in this case. How can you fool someone like this ? Not recommended at all.

Great mix of places to see on the island, with a lovely walk included. Walk was always surprising us just ahead with lots to learn about the area.

Clinton was a great guide, I’d probably skip raspberry farm and couple other food shops, and spend time visiting lighthouse or actual Penicott rock formations.. Overall, good way to see a bit of island without driving!

Great day out with an exciting Hike and great food. Bruny Island Beer was a highlight at lunch. Our guide was very informative and really structured so we saw everything.

They cancelled the tour on that morning. Luckily we joined another tour, but we paid a lot more than we expected.
