What To Expect
Dover Castle
Our Tour Manager will introduce you to the history of Dover Castle and then you will have free time to explore. Visit the medieval war tunnels or The Royal Court of Henry II or the World War II underground hospital.
The White Cliffs of Dover
We either walk along the top of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, or view them from the beach, depending on the weather.

5.00I booked this tour in order to see the White Cliffs of Dover and the Wartime tunnels and it really exceeded my expectations. Nick was a great tour guide. His sarcastic dry British humour kept my teenage son laughing, engaged and attentive throughout the tour. I particularly appreciated Nick’s advice regarding what order to see certain things at Dover Castle in order to maximize our time. After visiting the castle and the tunnels, we were driven to a very picturesque spot and Nick stood in as photographer for everyone on the tour! After visiting Canterbury Cathedral, we took Nick up on his offer of a walking tour around the town while others were free to go have a meal somewhere if they wished. While it was a long day, it did really fly by!
