Terrible meeting logistics and denied refund

1.00We were very disappointed with this experience. We arrived at the meeting point around 10:05 (departure time was 10am) and looked carefully for the guide, who was supposed to be identifiable with a red lanyard. Despite seeing several other tour groups in the vicinity, we could not locate Albion Tours before messaging the company. What we did not realize at the time was that we were the only people booked for the tour. Had we known, we would have understood that the guide was looking specifically for us and that the tour could not begin without our presence. Under those circumstances, clearer communication or a more obvious meeting point would have made all the difference. Although we were aware of Viator’s 24-hour cancellation policy, the logistics here were not helpful in allowing us to find the guide. We arrived just minutes after the scheduled time and were present at the location, yet we were still treated as a “no show” and denied a refund or credit. For a family traveling in London, losing money in this way was extremely frustrating. A little more flexibility or clearer instructions would have gone a long way toward improving the experience.

5.00This tour was great for our short time in London. We got to see and hear the history of many popular sights and London and got an insiders tour of where the best spot was to see the changing of the guards. Highly recommend and well worth the experience.
