Chateau De Chantilly
Visit a library which has almost 1,500 manuscripts, making it the second largest library in France for illuminated manuscripts after the National Library of France. The Très Riches Heures of Jean, Duc de Berry is one of the most precious manuscripts in the library and archives of the Condé museum of Chantilly. It is reputed to be the most beautiful manuscript in the world and referred to as "The King of Manuscripts" by the Duke of Aumale. This is the most famous and most admired "treasure" of the Château de Chantilly's collections and there over the 60,000 volumes of books in this huge library! 5.00Nice chalet not far from central Paris. Alot of history there. Nice art collection. Delicious lunch. Ride the train around and see wallabys. Good audioguide.

5.00What a beautiful castle! Highly recommend it! We got picked by Sebastian, our tour guide. He did an amazing job! The Castle was about 45 minutes from our hotel. Beautiful architecture and art collection including a couple of Rafael's originals. It also has beautiful stables, and they do horse shows on Sundays. The tour includes lunch in the Castle restaurant. The food was delicious and the dessert with chantilly cream was superb!

5.00This tour is an absolute must! It is worth every penny. Our personal guide, Benoît, collected us right at our hotel doorstep. The VW van was new, clean and air conditioned. Benoît provided a very informative history of the Château on the way there and took care of tickets, audio guided and lunch vouchers. The art collection is amazing! A small version if the Louvre. The lunch at the Château restaurant was superb! The options, presentation and portions were excellent. If that is not enough, the horse show was great. Even the stables are a sight! I give this tour the highest possible rating! Loved it!

5.00Picked up at our hotel by our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Benoit, who made sure we had an excellent day visiting the chateau, art collection, and impressive riding stables (fun!). Lunch was at an attractive nearby Relais &Chateaux. The day in the country was a lovely addition to our mostly urban Parisian itinerary. Recommend!!
