Christine did a great job. The pace was fine for any slower walkers in our group. We could hear her comments. I appreciated that she was respectful of others by having us step to the side (to allow others to pass) when talking to us. It appeared maybe one or two food vendors were not quite ready for us, but she took it in stride and everything worked out fine. Evidently others were impressed as well since someone stopped us during the tour and wanted to know which tour we were on.

“I learned more historical and cultural details about Chinatown and North Beach listening to Scott’s walking tour of these areas during the 4 hour tour than I discovered in two years in residing in the Washington Square, area, the heart of North Beach and “moonlighting” at Chinese Hospital. I highly recommend his erudite and informative presentations . Warren E. Hagan M.D.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Andre, was very knowledgeable and answered all our crazy questions. You cover a lot of ground (literally and figuratively) on this tour but we enjoyed it all. The dim sum house and the tea shop were particular highlights!

This was absolutely a wonderful experience! Our tour guide, which I think is Brian and I apologize if I don’t remember that, but you can always ask for him. He went completely out of his way to make sure we had an incredible experience, not only with the taste tour, but all the historical information that backs up all the details which you would never know unless you learned it from Brian I can’t even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience it was and he was wanting us to have a great time and we did. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone thinking about going to San Francisco and China town as well as North Beach. You can’t beat this tour anywhere else. We experienced so many different types of food and I love the food and I know most people did too. Please be sure to get the same tour guide as he was awesome. If I am to go back one day, I will definitely only do whatever Brian has to offer because he truly went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience.
