On this last-entry Louvre tour, explore the museum's essential sections with an expert guide, and then experience the beauty of the world-famous painting in peace right as the doors are closing. Accompanied by your expert guide, discover the palace's foundations at the moat, and then wander among the collection of Classical Greek statues to find the mysterious Venus de Milo and the triumphant Winged Victory of Samothrace. Study the masterpieces of Caravaggio, Raphael, and da Vinci, admire the Romantic finesse of Géricault's The Raft of Medusa, and venture inside a room sparkling with Crown Jewels. Make your way to the Mona Lisa Room and enjoy the freedom to get as close to the small but monumental painting as you like, soaking up the beauty of the lady's ambiguous and endlessly analyzed expression.

We enjoyed our tour with guide Laurence, she was great, very informative. She was a speed walker so we had to keep up. being able to pass the entrance lines, and be guided through security was great. Still had some crowds, but not terrible.

A fast-paced but exceptional visit with our very knowledgeable guide Lawrence, who shared insights into some of the well-known and not-so-well-known works of art while guiding our small group of six smoothly through the masses of people. She pointed out details and interpretations that we would never have noticed on our own. The Louvre provides free folding stools that were much appreciated when we stopped for focused information. The tour ends at closing time, so unfortunately there is no opportunity to wander on your own afterward. Highly recommend.

The guide was on time and was easily identifiable. Natalie was very enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable on her art and history of the museum. She made the tour fun and exciting for some of the children that were in the group by asking questions and including them. She is the best.

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide brought along his IPad to show us different examples through out the tour. Really helped to give us a full understanding of some of the many pieces we saw Very knowledgeable and kind. Gave us time to linger as we went but made sure that we saw all of the high points through out the museum.

Adam was amazing! He’s truly an expert in his field. We were engaged the entire tour (which we’ve never experienced before) and learned so much about art, sculptures, and the artists themselves. Doing this “after hours” made it much easier to get around. There were some crowds but Adam was able to get us in the best spots. I am already planning our next trip back to include several tours with Adam! Team Adam for life!

Our guide Adam was enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the Louvre itself as well as the pieces on display. The tour was fun and educational. Adam shared history/details about the techniques used to create the pieces, what we can/have learned from the pieces, and how we can determine origins or what statues may be an original or a replica with a few key details. There were several Leonardo da Vinci paintings on display. Adam showed us those (and other pieces from around the time) before the Mona Lisa to tell us more about the techniques Leonardo used and demonstrate how revolutionary and influential Leonardo was. This also helped us have a greater appreciation for the Mona Lisa.

There is so much more to the Louvre than the paintings. The history of the building helps understand what the artist was thinking when he created.

This was only my 2nd time at the Louvre and it was outstanding. Our guide Nancy was fabulous - her knowledge and wonderful personality made it both educational and entertaining. And to see the Mona Lisa as well as other DaVinci works without a line was unbelievably amazing. I felt like I really saw her this time versus at the back of a dense crowd of people trying to zoom in from afar. I highly recommend both the tour and our guide Nancy!
