Kona's "Painted Church" a can't miss

5.00Visiting the painted church was worth the trip. Very interesting history surrounding the church. Our guide was friendly and provided us with a great deal of information about Kona's history and culture. He did a wonderful job! The length of the excursion was perfect as it gave people enough time to spend time exploring the town of Kona after the tour.

5.00This excursion was completed off a cruise ship by an independent company. We SW the same incredible sights and had a very informative tour guide. As promised, we were returned to the ship on time! Highly recommend to save money as well.

5.00We enjoyed this tour immensely. We had a fantastic tour guide (Kawika) who has a really great sense of humour. His commentary was very funny and really added to our enjoyment of the tour. The highlight of the tour was Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park. It is such an extraordinary and beautiful place with a fascinating history and it is very well cared for. We also enjoyed our visit to St. Benedict's Painted Church. The story of its creation is surprising and impressive. We rate this tour a 10/10! Thank you, Kawika!
