Cuandixia, which means stove in Chinese, is a Ming village built between 1403 to 1424. Cuandixia Village contains about 70 well-preserved courtyard homes and houses approximately 30 families. Explore the town with your private guide, and enjoy an authentic country-style lunch in a local restaurant.

Then head to the Tanzhe Temple, a Buddhist temple situated in the Western Hills, a mountainous area in western Beijing. Tanzhe Temple was built in the Jin Dynasty, and is one of the oldest temples in Beijing.
