We weren't a fan of this tour because there was so much sweet food, and not enough savory. I think the problem was that it was a 9:30 am tour, so maybe the non-sweet places weren't open early. Also, generally the food was tasty, but not amazing, considering the price. I wish we had spent the money on a really good restaurant instead. The guide was very nice though.

We did this tour last week and it was amazing. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kids (tweens) and our tour guide was Betsy. She was a great tour guide, very informative about the food and the history of the area (which we really enjoyed hearing). Betsy was very attentive to all of us including the kids and really listening and getting to know us on a personal level. All the sampling we tried was very good and one in our party was a pescatarian and she made sure that she was taken care of also. A great way to spend 3 hrs in Paris.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our Left Bank food tour with Betsy through Eating Europe Food Tours Paris. Our group of six included two children (11 and 12). The food was outstanding at every stop, with so many tastings that we were absolutely stuffed by the end. Betsy wove together fascinating historical facts with rich details about the food we sampled, making the entire experience both engaging and memorable. She was incredibly knowledgeable but also so kind and attentive. Betsy took the time to connect with each person in the group, especially with the kids. She made them feel welcome and included, giving them little moments of attention and conversation that meant so much. They talked about her for the rest of our time in Paris, which shows the lasting impression she made. She also went out of her way to accommodate a pescatarian in our group, providing thoughtful alternatives whenever meat was served. Beyond the tour itself, Betsy followed up with an email full of restaurant suggestions for the rest of our trip and even included a book recommendation we had chatted about. Her genuine care, warmth, and attention to detail really set this tour apart. We were all raving about her afterward, and everyone in the group agreed we would absolutely sign up for another tour with Betsy in the future. She made our Paris experience that much more special.
