Get your steps in to the second floor before taking the elevator to the summit for epic Paris views After meeting your guide near the Eiffel Tower, you’ll head for the ticketing desk and pass through the security area to begin your climb. Your first stop is the first floor (of course!), where the crowds are usually smaller and you can enjoy a unique perspective of the Paris skyline, and walk on the 188-foot-high glass floor. Next, you’ll continue your climb to the popular second floor for an even higher viewpoint. Along the way your guide will inform and entertain with stories of the city’s history and the tower’s construction. The cherry on top is a trip to the Eiffel Tower summit, where you’ll have an unmatched view of the city from a staggering 906 feet (276 meters)! You’ll be given access to the summit elevator for this final part of the tour, and you’re free to stay at the top for as long as you please.

Lots of walking and stairs. Tons of history and knowledgeable guide. Our tour was at 6:30pm and we got to see the sunset!

The best part was to see the intermittent lights so close and the whole city at night!!! Ruth was an amazing story teller and very knowledgeable about the tower. She even provided pictures of the history involved. Great time and she made the most experience fun and entertaining.

It started at 8 and I didn’t get a ticket to go to the top floor . I stood in line to take the elevator and then they asked for a ticket . I tried to use the ticket in the bar code that you sent me . They wouldn’t take it . Because it was 9:30pm I was already upset that I wasn’t up to the top by now . They won’t refund half my money because of their negligence.

First off, what can you say, it is the Eiffel Tower! What made the experience so much better was our guide, Henry w/ 'The Tour Guy'. He was historically knowledgeable, full of facts, and encouraged us to ask questions (which he knew all of the answers too!). Not only was he friendly and fun (for ALL ages), but when the tower halted visitors due to high capacity, he knew what to do and provided an alternative, which actually allowed us to view the sunset(!), AND it was remarkable. I would highly recommend this tour from this guide; Henry was so captivating with his historical stories that by-standers came up to me to inquire about which tour/guide we were with! Last note: keep in mind that there are a lot of steps (674 in total just to reach the elevator on the 2nd floor). The steps are split between the 1st & 2nd floors, so gratefully there is a break. If my memory serves correctly, there are a few different tours available from 'The Tour Guy', so if you feel you cannot climb the steps, there is an elevator directly to the summit. PLEASE take this tour, you will not be disappointed!!!!
