Kinkakuji Temple
Kinkaku-ji, also known as the Golden Pavilion, is a renowned Zen Buddhist temple located in Kyoto, Japan. Officially named Rokuon-ji, this iconic structure is famous for its top two floors that are entirely covered in gold leaf, giving it a stunning and reflective appearance. Originally built in 1397 as a retirement villa for the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, it was later converted into a temple by his son. The temple is set within a beautiful Japanese strolling garden and overlooks a large pond called Kyōko-chi (Mirror Pond), which reflects the building's golden image. The surrounding landscape includes carefully arranged rocks, islands, and plantings that complement the pavilion's aesthetic. Kinkaku-ji has undergone several restorations, most notably after a fire in 1950. It remains one of Japan's most visited and photographed landmarks, symbolizing the country's rich cultural heritage and architectural beauty.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple
The Buddhist temple, with a history spanning 1200 years, holds prestigious UNESCO World Heritage status and is renowned as one of Japan's most iconic temples. Your admission fee covers the visit. Following your temple exploration, I'll guide you along a concealed mountain path perfect for hiking.
We will use taxi and public transportation if needed.

We met Nas in Osaka. He is the best guide who made the surprise highlight of the last day of the trip. The given schedule was short, but he did his best to accommodate our request. The Osaka Castle tour will be memorable for a long time. If I visit Japan next time, I would like to request another tour in Kyoto. Thank you, wonderful young man!

We visited Nara and Kyoto and our tour guide was very kind and considerate. He knows a lot of good places to both visit and eat out. I was a bit worried if we couldn't find good places to eat because I'm a muslim and I can't eat pork, but he knows many muslim friendly restaurants and the food that I had were all amazing. He studied a lot about history of places that we visited like how it was created or what were the temples used for. We had a lot of fun in one day and we are very grateful to out tour guide nas <3

Great experience. We were able to avoid all the crowded public transportation by taking a car. You can also see more and have more time to do things by taking a car everywhere. Our time schedule was extremely flexible and we got to see what we wanted to see.

It was amazing despite us not speaking English or Japanese my guide Nas provided us everything with translation was very patient and friendly always asking if we wanted to do something more attentive. He took a thousand pictures of us always placing us where we looked best. Each temple explained its meanings and traditions. Our guide Nas was excellent in our visit to Kyoto.

We had booked this tour many weeks ahead of our tour date. They waited until 6:00 pm the night before the tour to tell us that there were not able to get a vehicle and that we would need to take public transportation and wanted us to confirm we were still interested. We were at sea (which they knew) without access to internet, so I didn't get the message until the next morning. They decided to cancel at 1:00 am in the morning since they didn't hear back from me. I messaged them and called them several times in the morning to tell them we didn't want to cancel, but they didn't answer any of my calls or respond to my WhatsApp messages. So...we were left at the cruise terminal without any tour and we really wanted to see Kyoto. TripAdvisor did refund our money automatically since the guide cancelled, so that was not a problem. The problem was the last minute discovery that a private vehicle was not available, notifying us very late, and then cancelling without our approval. We had already pre-paid for the tour. There was no risk to them to show up as they were getting paid regardless. They just didn't want to guide the tour that day. Shame on them. Luckily, there were several other tour companies at the terminal and we were able to book another tour for a lot less money; however, it wasn't private and not the experience we had planned for.
