Driving permits from Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Kuwait, Qatar, and some countries are NOT ALLOWED to drive in Japan, please check if your country issues the 1949 Geneva Convention Permits.
1968 Vienna Convention, IDA, IAA or any other permits acquired online are NOT RECOGNIZED by Japan.

5.00Booked this company because of all their 5 star reviews and so happy we did. Monkey Karts was fantastic! We wanted to make sure we were early as requested and get our international license checked in and was hoping the weather would cooperate as rain was on its way. Our guide Reece was so great, he was able to take us 30 minutes earlier bc of that and his expertise and instructions made it very easy to understand our hour drive. He made us feel completely safe with him leading us too. These go karts have power and after 5 minutes you settle right in. Loved the fact that he took so many great pictures of us that we were able to focus on the road 🤣. Highly recommend this company as they make it fun, safe and will run with small groups or up to 5. Crossing Shibuya in a go kart was a rush for sure. Book early, we had the best time and completely missed any drizzle!

5.00Had a freaking awesome time. The tour guide gave me great insight on the city and most of the surrounding area with recommendations on eateries, specific buildings and so on. It was a comfortable atmosphere with some dope scenery and some laughs in-between to lighten the mood. My tour guide was Gus and his level of concern for my safety was exceptional as he checked periodically to make sure I was always in his view and I myself was ok. The view of the city was breathtaking esp from the advantage point of a suped-up go kart, which are very fast by the way. I mos def recommend this on a gorgeous summer night with some friends or family.
