When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will remain open.
St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. Windsor Castle closures: 25 and 26 December – Castle completely closed.
Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walking tour of the town will take place instead.

What To Expect
The tour will start at the Golden Tours office from Victoria where you will meet your guide at 7:30am for 8:00am departure. Golden Tours is London's foremost sightseeing company. Windsor Castle
As an iconic part of British culture, the beautiful Windsor Castle is one of the must-visit attractions in the UK. Explore the historic Castle in all its glory including the exuberant State Apartments where you’ll see artwork from some of the world’s most legendary artists, Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and discover St. George’s Chapel, the resting place of the notorious Tudor King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. You will also get to see the exquisite Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House that defies belief – a miniature structure complete with functioning lifts, running water and electricity!

5.00It’s been a long time since we took a tour, and James & Mario made it an absolute fabulous experience! James was very knowledgeable and super funny, and Mario’s driving skills was superb. Before we left the tour, James even went to every family group and made sure everyone knows how to get to where we need to go. I highly recommend taking a tour with them. 4.00This was a good tour. Time at Stonehenge was good for exploring and photos. The tour guide, Apple, was good. Both she and the driver were kind. The only comment, more time is needed at Windsor Castle to get the photo op at the long entrance to to the castle. You can’t do that and all the other exploring in the time allotted. All in all it was 8 out of 10.

5.00Enjoyable experience. Enjoyed getting safe travel to Windsor, Oxford, and Stonehenge. Guide Cedric was helpful with directions for getting back to the bus. Pay attention. It’s easy to get lost in Oxford or Windsor. We were not able to go inside Windsor due to Trump visit. Nice change of pace from London

5.00happy day and beautiful Amanda, Windsor Castle stands solemn and majestic, witnessing a millennium of royal history. The Roman Baths, with weathered relics, tell of ancient Rome's glory—both are historic treasures gifted by time.

5.00Our guide, Zozo, and driver, Charles were so knowledgeable and entertaining! We learned so much from the commentary and history that Zozo shared, and enjoyed his humor woven throughout his storytelling. The depth and scope of his knowledge was impressive, to say the least. Charles was a skilled driver and also shared historical insights when we were waiting for a few members of our group to return to the bus. The days events were well-planned and ample time was allotted at each stop to fully experience the site we were visiting. Overall we had an excellent experience and one of our favorite days of our trip.
