My friend and I did this on the last night of our 4-night girls’ trip to Florence. I’m giving it 4 stars because we ultimately had a great time, but it started with a hiccup and had one small downside. We arrived a few minutes early to the address on Viator, only to be told our names weren’t on the list. It turns out the company has two locations, and Viator only lets them list one address. They had messaged us earlier in the app with the correct location, which we unfortunately missed. Luckily, the second location was just a minute away and we only ended up being about ten minutes late. The cooking space was a large, charming room in the back of a restaurant, lined with vintage wine bottles and a Roman stone floor. The instructor was energetic, fun, and very beginner-friendly. More experienced cooks might not find it challenging, but we loved it — and everything tasted great. We didn’t realize we’d be making two pastas (ravioli and tagliatelle) plus tiramisu, and it was definitely a full meal. Dinner is served family-style in the main restaurant with the whole group (13 people across several parties). Chianti is poured as soon as you sit, and they happily keep the wine flowing. There were some nice touches too: a glass of Prosecco after cooking, and limoncello at the end. The only real negative (besides the address miscommunication) was one restaurant staff member (possibly the owner). When we arrived late, he pointed us to the back and said, “You’re late,” in a not-so-friendly way. Then at the end of the evening, when a few of us were still chatting, he abruptly told us, “The class is over. It’s time to leave,” even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. He didn’t impact the cooking class itself, but the interactions weren’t pleasant. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed the experience and felt it was great value for the money — between the cooking, the dinner, and the wine. I’d just recommend double-checking the Viator app on the day of your booking in case the meeting address gets updated, and hopefully the staff member is in a better mood for your class!

An incredibly amazing and fun experience!!! Our host, Alessandro, made the evening memorable and kept the wine flowing! We ended up spending the rest of the evening with our new friends we made during the class. Truly highlight of our time in Florence! Thanks to Alessandro and his ream for hosting us!
