Speaking of wine, you’ll start this adventure with a cold glass of Prosecco, because every masterpiece (cheese or otherwise) deserves a sparkling kickoff. Then, it’s showtime. Led by an expert cheese maker, you’ll learn how to transform fresh curds into perfect little bocconcini, twist up some nodini, braid treccine and dive into making burrata and the ultra-luxurious stracciatella (spoiler: you’re going to want to lick the bowl). Expect creative pairings like stracciatella with bottarga and lemon zest, plus a few secrets from the Simbiosi kitchen that you’ll absolutely be bragging about later. To top it all off? A guided wine tasting featuring both organic and conventional wines lets you sip, swirl and debate your favourite while soaking in the delicious chaos you just created. There will be laughter, music, mozzarella, wine, more mozzarella and possibly cheese-induced euphoria. Whether you’re a die-hard cheese lover, a wine enthusiast or just here for the chaos and carbs, this is your moment.

  • Unforgettable Experience in Florence!

Our family had the most amazing time at *Mozzarella Cheese Making with Wine and Food Tastings*! From start to finish, it was such a fun, hands-on experience. Jess was absolutely tremendous — patient, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. Sebastian was wonderful and even entertained my 15-month-old granddaughter, which made the experience even more special for all of us! I learned a ton about cheese making and Italian culinary traditions — now I’m even wondering how I can schedule some one-on-one time with Vincenzo to learn more. The mozzarella we made was delicious, and the wine and food pairings were fantastic — truly a taste of authentic Florence. It was the perfect mix of learning, eating, and enjoying time together as a family. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Florence — it’s an absolute must-do!

This class was an amazing experience. Jess, our instructor was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Mozzarella was delicious. The wine was flowing. The wine from your vineyards is excellent. I am having a case shipped home, along with your delicious sauce, and olive oil. The generous amount of food you served us was delicious, lasagna, burrata, meats, and pesto. We also learned how to make the burrata. Thank you for your kindness and for your genuine Florence hospitality. Grazie, Francesca

An immersive and engaging experience! I attended the Mozzarella Class at Symbiosis and it was truly one of a kind. Vincenzo was precise, clear and passionate in explaining every step, from the curd to the knots, making it not only instructive but also super fun. Seeing the mozzarella take shape in your hands was just crazy! And the icing on the cake? The tasting and the final aperitif, perfect to conclude this experience in the best way. I highly recommend this activity to anyone who is fascinated by Italian culinary art and loves - as I do - mozzarella!:)

I booked the Florence Mozzarella Cheese Making with Wine and Food Tastings as a solo traveler, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip! As it turned out, I was the only participant that day, but Jessica (I believe was her name) went absolutely above and beyond to make sure I still had an amazing experience. She was so kind, engaging, and knowledgeable — I never once felt awkward being there alone. The class was hands-on, fun, and surprisingly easy to follow. I learned the full technique of making fresh mozzarella from scratch, and the end result was some of the softest, creamiest cheese I’ve ever tasted. The wine and food pairings were delicious and perfectly complemented the experience. Although it might be a bit tricky to find some of the same ingredients back in the U.S., I’m so glad I now know the process and can try to recreate it at home. This was such a memorable and personal experience — highly recommend it for anyone visiting Florence, whether solo or with friends!

Fantastic experience! What enthusiasm from our teacher! We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco, were nicely explained how the mozzarella making went and why it is so different from what you buy in the store. We also got to work very quickly ourselves and made our own creations. The workshop ended with 2 glasses of wine and appetizers. We also got our homemade mozzarella to enjoy at home. Thank you so much for the nice experience 👌🤩🥂

This was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Florence! We ended up being the only couple for the date and time we chose, so we had a very hands on experience. Jess was so warm and patient, explaining and demonstrating every step multiple times. Unlike pasta making, cheese making is apparently a lesser known/lesser practiced art, so it was particularly fascinating learning all the components. In addition to making, tasting and taking home your mozzarella, Jess also serves you a delicious light lunch/antipasti as well as prosecco and two selections of organic wines that they produce. Both wines were so good, I opted to have some shipped home. If you are interested in food and having a unique experience, I would say this is a can’t miss! I highly recommend if you have time for a specialty class during your travels!

Jess was excellent, patient, and the process was both unique and highly achievable on our own. We learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. Nice departure from a thousand pasta making classes available to tourists
