I booked this trip on behalf of my mother who doesn't speak a lot of English. They were kind to arrange my mom to be dropped off on the way back (so that she can catch a bus to Isle of Skye the next day without going all the way back) and my mom had a good time the whole day despite the weather. Thanks for taking care of her!

This was part of a two day coach tour. The train is magical. The sight of it,the smell of the smoke and especially the sounds evoked childhood memories of many steamTrain trips to visit family in Derby This is the king.42 miles of magnificent scenery puffing over the Engineering feat that is Glenfinnan viaduct with its breathtaking view of Loch Shiel. One of the most important historical sites in scotland where feckless Charles Edward Stewart rallied the clans goading them with the phrase" Will ye no fecht for ma father" Onward through Arisaig to the working Fishing Port of Mallaig. A complete joy of a rail journey i would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

This tour far exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely wonderful. Fraser our guide is amazing, telling wonderful stories & history throughout the day & being an all round friendly chap. The beautiful scenery we drove through accompanied by traditional & modern Scottish music was perfect. Then the steam train! Wow! This was definitely a highlight & something extra special. This tour was everything you want & more. I would say it's an essential part of a trip to Inverness

Excellent day trip for sightseeing. Neptune’s staircase, Ben Nevis, a few lochs, glenfinan viaduct/station and Mallaig. The train seating was good. We sat on the left hand side leaving Fort William- best views. Only complaint-The tea- ready made! I would have preferred hot water and a tea bag- tea was very very weak. We bought sandwiches and cakes for our afternoon tea from Th Morrison’s next to the train station.
