Take a tour of Versailles with a difference - by bicycle! It's the only way to see Versailles' expansive gardens plus you'll get to see highlights of Versailles that most visitors miss, including Marie Antoinette's country-style Hameau, the Petit Trianon and the Grand Trianon. You'll also enjoy a picnic by the Grand Canal then take a tour of the Palace of Versailles. Versailles is located just 16 kilometers/12 miles from Paris, so we’ll meet near a metro station within Paris before beginning our journey. From there, we’ll take the suburban rail (about 30 minutes) and then pick up our bikes just across from the train station.

Our guide was personable, fun and really knew the history. Our tour had a few hiccups (people late for the tour, broken bikes) so we were a bit rushed at times. We enjoyed the relaxing pace of the bike ride and picnic lunch more than the palace, as it was packed with visitors. We gave 4 stars due to broken bikes that took some of our time but overall it was a great experience!

Stu was a great guide. My family had a great time. Stu did everything to make us comfortable and gave us just the right amount of history to keep it interesting.

The most wonderful day at Versailles! This whole day was such a treat from the train ride to Versailles, shopping at the huge market for our picnic lunch, picking up our bikes and enjoying the experience of cycling around the gardens of the palace, picnic rest stop by the canal, viewing the gardens, private tour of the Kings chambers, the hall of mirrors - so much and so fantastic. Could not fault this tour and highly recommend to anyone who has a whole day to spend visiting this beautiful place.

Rory was really great. We Enjoyed all the stories about the four fascinating king Louie's and now understand which is which. The bike riding was fun, you couldn't walk all around the estate and Rory ensured we were all safe. Also enjoyed the picnic with delicious food we all purchased at a local market. A fabulous day out.

Vlad was amazing as our tour guide, great knowledge and kept our group informed and well taken care of. He really made the experience a truly memorable one. I lived in Paris for 6 months and this has been my best tour hands down. Only real way to see Versailles grounds is by bike!
