From November to December, the meeting time will be 1 hour earlier on weekends. The tour bus departs from Tokyo Station at 7 o'clock and from Shinjuku Station at 7:30.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.There are many tour groups at the location, Late arrivals or no shows will not be refunded.
You will receive an email the evening before the tour with important details, including the guide,driver and meeting point information. Please check your inbox and spam/junk folder.

On weekends, public holidays, or during peak travel seasons, traffic conditions may be affected. This is a shared group tour with guests from various countries. The guide will provide explanations in multiple languages.
Please be advised that the vehicle arrangement will be based on the number of participants on the day of departure, ranging from the smallest 10-seat Hiace to the largest 45-seat tourist bus.
If the participants less than 13 person, the tour guide will also service as the driver

Together with Futarasan Shrine and Rinnoji Temple, it forms the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Shrines and Temples of Nikko.” The shrine complex includes about 55 buildings, featuring 8 National Treasures and 34 Important Cultural Properties. Highlights include: Yomeimon Gate – Known as the “Gate of Sunlight,” it features over 500 intricate carvings and is admired for its lavish decoration and unparalleled craftsmanship. Admire the Yomeimon Gate, known as the “Gate of Sunlight,” with over 500 intricate carvings. See the famous Three Wise Monkeys, the Sleeping Cat, and the Imaginary Elephants.
Irohazaka Route
14:00 – Irohazaka Winding Road (Drive-through) A scenic mountain road, part of Japan’s “Top 100 Roads,” connecting Nikko City to Lake Chuzenji and Oku-Nikko. It spans 15.8 km with a total of 48 sharp curves. Particularly stunning in autumn, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of vibrant autumn foliage. From the Akechidaira Ropeway, visitors can also view Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji.

The guide was nice but gave us very little historic explanation about the temple. We had to visit the temple entirely by ourselves.
