We traveled by train from Dumbarton to Glasgow queen street, then a quick taxi to the bus station in order to do the tour. Our driver, Colin, quickly checked us in at 0730. There were 8 of us on a 16 passenger bus. We had a lot of space. One of the perks of doing the tour in November. Colin was very knowledgeable of the areas we drove through, sharing the history of Scotland. He also stopped several times along the way for us to take pictures. The scenery was breathtaking. The only two negatives was the rain and no wifi on the bus, but most times the rain would slow down or stop while we were stopped and having no wifi meant you actually had to socialize with others. . Lovely experience. I would recommend this tour.

If there was a way to give Tony 10 stars we would. He was the perfect host for our day in the highlands. The stories were amazing. The extra photo stops really added to our day. Tony always greeted us with a smile. Learning the history of Scotland was exactly what we were hoping for. The village of Fort Augustus was beautiful. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the locks. Loch Ness was stunning. Even if we didn’t see Nessie. On our way back to Glasgow we stopped at Perthshire and saw some hairy highland coos. A spectacular end to our trip. We highly recommend this day long adventure. It is well worth the money.

It was a lovely day. I really enjoyed the journey, on the way there much more than the journey back, as I was already tired, it was very dark outside and you couldn't see the places being referred to. Could have done with less talk on our journey back. This is just my opinion.. Our driver and guide was pleasant, entretaining and very knowledgeable. He shared a wealth of historical info and interesting facts about Scotland throughout the journey and also some Scotish folk music and a taste of Scottish whiskey! In Lockness, I chose not to tak the crise as it was pouring down withvrain, cold and misty. Instead, I went to visit the small town, wentvto see the beautiful Abbey, which since 1995 is a Hotel; I walked to different sites around the lake and had my lunch at 13:40.(Luckily the sun shone for about 30 minutes. No guiding provided outside the bus. Very much left to our own devices on those occasions. However, Scottish folk are ever so helpful. It was a lovely day, overall. Well W worth it. Thank you.

Was a wonderful trip with a beautiful view of the highlands. Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Allowed us to make a lot of extra stops and get some great pictures from the trip. The extra money for the tour of Loch Ness was also well worth it.

Tony has gone above and beyond to make this tour memorable for us. Lots of fun facts, and he always made sure we were comfortable and had enough time to do the things we'd want to do! I cannot put into words how much we enjoyed this trip, both because of the views, visits, and our guide! Thank you Tony and Discover Scotland, if I could give 10 stars I would have :)
