Seljalandsfoss
Then turn back west along the coastal road at the foot of Eyjafjallajokull volcano and make a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This beautiful column of water tumbles off the cliffs and you have the possibility of walking around behind the falls and through the spray, so be sure to bring your waterproofs, as you might get wet. This is saved this stop for last, as getting wet at the end of the day is much better than starting the day wet.
Skogafoss
The first stop is the powerful Skogafoss waterfall with its 60 metre (200ft) drop and formidable spray. On sunny days, the waterfall often has a rainbow to add to the view

The tour itself showed us wonderful places and the guide Agnese was very good and very kind, as well as being super helpful because he left the center in a very convenient location instead of the port. The only flaw is that the program was not respected because we did not even make the walk on the ice one of its approaches but we saw it only from a distance for a photo, otherwise the time to visit the places was sufficient and without having to run. Suitable for cruisers staying two days in Reykjavik, to do on the first day

Beautiful tour, Martin our guide was very entertaining and provided a lot of interesting facts and took good care of us. All the stops on the tour were magnificent! Highly recommend it! There was plenty of time given to discover the sights. For Glacier and black beach we had heavy winds which made it a bit of a challenge, but a part from the nature giving us a bit of hard time it was an awesome tour.

WHAT a great day! It was a long one, but totally worth it — there’s lots of driving to get places but you get to see so much of Iceland’s landscapes along the south coast and it’s totally worth seeing. Al was our driver guide and he was fantastic; loads of interesting info about Iceland, its landscape & history — he’s a credit to EastWest! Loved every minute

We were picked up in a minibus by a guide named Sulton who comes from India. He did not know the history of Iceland or the culture. The charge for each one of us was twice the price advertised here. He did not have a planned day for us and we never stopped for lunch(as advertised). Iceland Horizon tours or Saga Iceland tours were very disappointing.

Yesterday-June 10th, we took this tour with Monica. It was one of the most interesting, fact filled + scenic days ever! Monica is high energy, good vibes, super informative and even plays Icelandic music enroute! We got the most INCREDIBLE photos + video of a glacier, waterfalls + locations where Game of Thrones was filmed. I would give this your 6 stars if I could!

Our guide Almar made this incredibly scenic tour a warm, fun and engaging day. The list of stops listed here may seem unimpressive but it is in reality more than generous – many smaller stops and photo occasions encountered along the way aren’t accounted for and the landscapes driven through are breathtaking even on a cloudy and/or rainy day. Perhaps even moreso!
