Be part of an authentic Arctic adventure the when driving your team of dogs. Dog sled has been used for travel and hunting for centuries throughout the Arctic region. Dog sledding consist of a musher, a sled and one or more dogs. It's an adventurous activity for your holiday in northern Norway. Be part of an authentic Arctic adventure when driving your own team of dogs on the outskirt of Tromsø. You will get some great advice from our guide to help you have a wonderful experience as a musher (driver) and become one with nature.
All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles. We travel over tundra and through forests and you will get in close contact with both nature and dogs. During daytime, you will get a beautiful view towards the Lyngen Alps, and during dark season you can experience the northern light dancing above us. Two people share each sled and we will stop along the way to change mushers and to take photos.

Extra experience, dogs top and easy to lead for the first time. The explanations were clear. Great experience. Thank you!!!

The staff was very friendly and had a very good knowledge of the dogs’ personalities rather than just their names. Several of the participants made frequent mistakes (not breaking correctly, etc) despite well articulated instructions, which unfortunately caused a lot of stops along the way. However, it was still a great experience overall!

I have been dogsledding many times and this farm did not impress me. Many shy antisocial dogs. Feels like dogs that dont enjoy people are kept in the kennel despite this being detrimental for the dogs and the guest experience. They should be given away to families to enjoy a quieter life, like most other kennels do. Some clearly limping dogs, some dogs with a nasty goose cough. Many skinny dogs. Fur not beautiful and shiny. We went with a cruise group and definitely didnt receive what the website describes: no clothes (they dont have enough for big groups). No guiding, just a short explanation on how to sit on the sled. The group was split in two and there was either sledding or just petting the dogs and self service hot drinks and cakes. No self driving. The ride was beautiful and the mushers were nice. But several people in our group left with a feeling of this all being suboptimal.

No snow but still got to go. Instead of sleds we used buggies with tires. It was great. Everyone is friendly and the dogs love the attention.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely morning with the Norwegian travel team today! From start to finish, everything was easy and the team made a real effort to compensate (as there was no snow). We did wagon wheeling instead which was so much fun, then we headed back, met all 115 dogs and the pups, and then enjoyed some delicious homemade soup and cake in front of the fire in the tipi. If we came back to Norway, we would 100% do this excursion again!

We had an unforgettable experience with the dogs! The entire adventure, from the thrilling ride to getting to know each dog and giving them some well-deserved pets afterward, was just incredible. The dogs were so friendly and full of energy, and it was clear how much they love what they do. The team was equally amazing—so welcoming and knowledgeable. They truly made the experience special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming adventure with great people and wonderful dogs 👌

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing dog sledding with Aurora Alps, and it was absolutely incredible! The team was professional, the dogs were amazing, and the scenery was breathtaking. Driving the sled myself was a thrilling highlight. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure in the snow!

We really enjoyed the well organised trip. The busdrive itself takes a while but is more than worth it as you can see alot from the countryside. Very good instructions on how to behave on the dogsled, very warm clothes. The sledding in small groups of 4 sleds was in a breathtaking landscape. Aferwards we could cuddle the healthy and very happy dogs and had some nice cake and hot drinks in the tent with a bonfire. The dogs in this camp are in a very good condition (they do get training in summer aswell) and all of the lovely stuff do behave very responsible.
