We had a wonderful time on this trip. The bus journey was smooth. The reindeer feeding was very wholesome and there was a fire to warm your hands nearby. We booked on to the reindeer sledging on arrival as an extra, which was 100% worth it even in the snow! The Sami culture talk was incredibly interesting, and it was great to try the traditional meal of reindeer stew.

Excursion was well organized and executed. Drive was about one hour through some beautiful scenery covered with fresh snowfall. The Sami guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We left with a much better understanding of the Sami culture.

They took us to the reindeer farm in two buses. First we were able to unload our unnecessary things in the lavvu. Tea, hot chocolate, coffee and a little cake were already prepared on the table. Our guide explained the program, what time we would have dinner, how long and how we could feed the reindeers. One of a kind experience, we adored it. If you were cold, you could go back to warm up at any time, or you could do it outside by the fire. Everyone we met was fantastically kind and smiling. They were happy to answer our questions. We would like to thank Kristian for his knowledge and presentation and stories about his people, the Sami. We left with wonderful experiences and knowledge. The speech in the Sami language at the end of the program made my eyes water. I am so grateful to have been there.
