We had a great time. It was a lot of fun to feed and pet the reindeer. The setting was beautiful, with snow-capped mountains all around. The guide gave a great introduction to Sami culture and the meal was fantastic. We were able to sit with people from a couple of different countries, as well.

Punctual bus trip through the mountains with beautiful view. On arrival quick and friendly operations. Feeding the reindeer was a great experience, do follow them to a quiet place after feeding, and you can observe them in their own daily surrounding. The reindeer stew was good! And the Sami presentation interesting and highly informative – Thanks for sharing this to both guides. I was impressed hearing the joit, as well as hearing what part of the Sami culture and way of life you want to pass across to next generations: seeking balance in everything, don't overuse anything and put things back where you took them after use. I took it home with me as wisdom of life, your life, but useful to everyone of us. Thanks!

Honestly a little expensive, but the tour checked all the boxes it promised - a bus charter + reindeer feeding experience + Saami culture properly explained by a real Saami guide + authentic reindeer stew (which tasted way more gamey than any restaurants/cafes that I tried the stews in) + a bus charter back I had a fun time feeding the reindeers. But if you are a solo traveler, make sure you think of creative ideas to take your own photos! :)

Great tour, amazing knowledge and fantastic experience. Our guide, John, was passionate about his culture and kept us informed and entertained the whole time. I loved learning about the Sami culture. The reindeers were majestic and gentle creatures.

This trip was one of the highlights of our visit to Tromsø. The scenery in the mountains is spectacular. There was lots of time to feed and interact with the reindeer, and we had the opportunity to upgrade our experience to include sledding. The lunch was good, both the reindeer stew, and the vegetable stew. The Sami guides shared information and artifacts about their culture which was really interesting. Highly recommended!
