  We definitely recommend this experience. Our guide Barbora was amazing, very insightful and told us all about the northern lights as the tour went on. She went to get us by the harbour and we got our warm suits to chase the lights. Told us about the places that had the best chances of seeing them and off we went. We got to Finland and had warm drinks, dinner and even marshmallows on sticks by the fire. We still had to wait a while for them to appear but she reassured us and the show was out of this world. Also Adam, the driver was great, drove us to safety on a snowstorm back to Tromsø. We loved it.

  This was a small bus group (12-15) with the ability to drive to where the clouds are absent, allowing for us to see the lights. We had a very good showing of the lights! This company also offered a campfire and food during the evening which allowed us to calmly sit and contemplate the lights (after initially running around and taking many, many pics)! I suggest you use the available insulated coveralls and boots to be more comfortable during the hours you may be out.

  We had the best time on our northern lights excursion with Magdalena! Her passion, open sport, and knowledge of the lights and local culture and transitions was so clear. She was fun, optimistic, and so determined - and even with the snowy forecast, she spent time monitoring conditions for breaks in the clouds to see the lights. And we did! We also so enjoyed speaking with Magadalena and our fellow travelers around the campfire with food and drink. The photos are fantastic. Adam was our driver and I felt very safe and comfortable in the minibus, even in the snow. I also want to give a shoutout to Petra - without her we almost missed the trip due to Viator customer service providing us with conflicting pick up information. Despite the mix up, Petra went above and beyond to call and text me so we wouldn’t miss the group at the correct pick up spot. Can’t recommend this enough! Their team is so clearly devoted to outstanding customer service.

  Great night to remember! Besides the photos (which were spectacular), the experience provided by the guide (Georgi) with insights about the Northern Lights and the happiness of sharing it with us, made it even better :) Would recommended it to everyone!

  It was excellent! Barbara is a genius, she tried to do the best for us in the hunting experience, the wheater was not the best but she really tried. thanks!

  Our guide, Georgi, was absolutely amazing! From the moment the tour began, you could tell he truly loves what he does. He was full of energy, super friendly,very cool guy and made everyone feel comfortable right away. His passion for chasing the northern lights was contagious — he didn’t just take us to a good spot, he made sure we understood what was happening in the sky and shared fascinating facts about the aurora. You can tell that guiding isn’t just a job for him it’s something he genuinely lives for. If you ever come to Tromsø and want to experience the aurora with someone who’s passionate, knowledgeable, and just a really cool guy, ask for Georgi. He made our night absolutely unforgettable

  This adventure was simply amazing! Given poor weather conditions in Tromso, my partner and I were skeptical about our chances of seeing this gift from nature. However, our crew drove into Finland to increase our chances and did they ever meet and exceed! They know their stuff—and Magdalena was a phenomenal guide! The experience was beyond magical—especially as a way to celebrate our marriage anniversary.
