Our kid friendly baking classes are the only classes that welcome families with young children in Paris.
We work with English speaking pastry experts who know how to handle a class with young participants.
These 2 hours sessions allow them to learn cooking techniques and successfully bake one of the hardest recipe of all French pastries: the macaron!
All members of the families can play their part, but the class will focus on making it a fun, memorable and yummy moment in one of our Parisian kitchens.
Our different locations are positioned in family friendly neighborhoods, with lots of great restaurants, playgrounds, walking paths, away from tourist crowds and traffic.

We do not accept bookings for kids only, an adult must pay and do the class. No spectator.
What To Expect
We have now several locations where we host the macaron class. If not at Yann couvreur Patisserie, we will message you the address by text message the day before so please be in touch during your stay. Other locations are also central and kids friendly but we can't have clients chose as we arrange our groups depending of our classes capacity and space available. Our macaron baking classes for families with kids are perfect for learning new cooking techniques and enjoy delicious macarons! Your chef will prepare the measurements for the class and as a group, let you mix the ingredients, shape the macarons with a pastry bag and garnish the macarons with the flavors of the day. You will leave with your production of the class in a box to go, if you save some! We expect participants of all ages to take part to the class with their own ticket, but kids under 5 years old can find it hard to focus and follow all the steps of the recipe. Parents are expected to look after their children so the group class can run smoothly. Please note that after 15 minutes of delay, your class will be cancelled and not refunded, as other families and tour guide have a strict schedule.

5.00We chose this experience because it specifically mentioned that it was suited for younger kids. It was perfect for our 11-year-old daughter. There was just enough measuring and stirring to keep her entertained without it being overwhelming. The activity was approx. 90 min. which made it a nice option to fit into our busy schedule. We chose the Marais location, and it fit in nicely at the end of a day visiting the Picasso museum and shopping in the boutique stores.

5.00I did this class with my 7-year-old daughter, my husband, and my mother-in-law. This class is geared towards families with kids, which is why we selected it. Nadia did a fantastic job teaching at our daughter's level, and the grown-ups learned a few things too! We all had a blast and agreed this was one of our favorite experiences in Paris. We plan to use Nadia's recipe to make macarons to give everyone at Christmas!

5.00We had a wonderful experience learning to make macarons with Nadia! She was so sweet and easy going and also was thoughtful and at ease helping our kids through the process! We wanted to try this class to learn how to make a traditional French pastry and she gave us an experience to remember! Highly recommend!
