Fun tour, nicely paced, our guide was terrific (Michael). He also handled an interruption by a cranky local with grace, tact, and professionalism. The stories were interesting and the group was a good size (not too huge). Nice to have a break in the middle for bathroom & drink refresh. The only caveat is that I felt like although it was *not* an "adults only" tour, a little bit of the material, like a sentence or two, was probably better suited for adults. I did this tour with my teen who has a decent tolerance for horror, but there were a couple of extra disturbing details of the torture at the LaLaurie mansion. So even though there was nothing "adult" in terms of sex or whatever, this was a bit "adult" for violence. That said, I think it is important to know and recognize the horrors that enslaved people faced, so it's a balance for sure. Just wanted to mention for people with younger teens who might do this tour.

It wasn’t what we expected and it was more story telling than actually experiencing paranormal activity. The tour guide was good but the way it was organized seemed nothing as to what we expected. It wasn’t any different than doing a walking French quarter tour.

Yvette was an awesome tour guide! She was even kind enough to stay after the tour to give tailored recommendations. She made sure to keep everyone safe while also remaining respectful to the locals + other groups.Great mix of history + folklore. Drinks and bartender at the Voodoo Lounge were also a 10/10! Thanks Yvette (:

Not good. Tour was only about an hour even though it was advertised as 2 hr. Only visited 4 spots. There were several children in the group and the guy had jokes about STD’s, strippers, said he was selling weed, wanting to buy weed among many other very inappropriate jokes. More jokes than history or legend. Definitely not worth the money. Too many other better options out there

Joined a group of 12 for this walk and had a terrible experience. This walk was at 6pm and there were children but the guide was inappropriate for youngsters giving far too much gory detail. After about an hour, the guide had disappeared into the crowds with 5 guest, leaving 7 of us behind. Unfortunately I fell on the badly maintained pavement (seems pretty rough throughout the city centre) and bashed my nose and sprained both wrists. Luckily nothing broken because but for the assistance of one of the other ‘lost’ guests, we were abandoned. Had to find our own way to a taxi to get back to the hotel. The guide should show some responsibility for ensuring the safety of his group. Would definitely not recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND and for $22, this is a steal! We had Michael as our tour guide and he was the most knowledgeable and friendly person you could ever meet. There was not a single question asked that he did not know the answer to. If I could give this tour a 10 star rating I would. This tour should be mandatory for all first time visitors of NOLA!
