Like nature? Love Impressionism? Read on! Let us whisk you away on a half-day trip to the village of Giverny where Monet and other Impressionists set up home in the 19th Century. After a short one-and-a-half-hour ride from Paris, you’ll find yourself in this quaint little village in Normandy, where you’ll visit Monet’s exquisite house and gardens. Your art historian guide or audioguide will animate your tour around the flowerbeds that proved a source of inspiration for Monet, past the water lily pond made famous in the Nymphéas series and across the Japanese bridge that pops up so often in his work. Then you’ll explore Monet’s house, almost untouched by the passage of time.

Super, super crowded (even in September) to the point where it's actually hard to see and experience anything, even though the grounds are lovely. Just kept getting pushed through. The audio "guide" stopped working 1/2 way through and guide was no help. I was really looking forward to having a Monet experience, but not so much in reality. Disappointing and wouldn't recommend

We had a wonderful time on the Giverny tour. Our guide, Alex, was brilliant. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled at keeping the group together and on task. We arrived at the gardens just after a rain shower, and the sun broke through, which made the flowers and water lilies even more beautiful for photos. We didn’t take the time to see the village or Monet’s house this time, but that gives us a reason to return. I’d happily recommend this tour to anyone interested in Monet and his gardens. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the restaurant where the group met. Best to choose your own spot before or after the tour.

Bus departed from assigned point precisely on schedule. Our guide Phillipe was excellent, the gardens were beautiful, and Monet's house was very interesting. Inevitably, everything was very crowded, but we recommend the tour.
