Our tour took us to the artist’s home and gardens first thing in the morning, before crowds and heat of the day. Simon our guide and driver was knowledgeable, very personable, and made all persons in our small group of 7 feel welcome. I highly recommend both the tour and Simon!

Learned much about Claude Monet and his life at Giverny. Plus, lingering throughout the exquisite gardens was a sensory treat! Our guide, Roland, was a rich source of information (Monet, Paris, villages en route) which was much appreciated!

If you come during summer time, it gets very hoy and humid, so plan your outfit accordingly. Otherwise, the experience was simply perfect and dreamy! You really see Monet's painting come alive before your eyes. I never thought it could be such a wonderful place, highly recomended!!

Monet's home and gardens were magnificent. The trip there, however, was awful. Either the van did not have working air conditioning or the driver did not know how to properly use it. We had to drive with the windows open and it was over 90 degrees that day. In addition, the traffic was horrific. The website stated 1 hour 20 minutes each way. It was over 2 hours there and over 1 hour 30 minutes back. We could not stay longer in Giverny because one passenger had a 7:30 appointment. This was certainly not the fault of the travel service, but I would advise everyone to book the morning trip when the traffic is not quite so bad.
