Izzy was an excellent guide! We loved the history given about the two artists and the tour of the beautiful country side. Izzy shared wonderful details about the areas as well as the artists She was a great and safe driver who had wonderful tips on where to eat or get treats along the way. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Alice, was excellent as the group was small but diverse. She was prompt and considerate. Some had special needs and she did an excellent job accommodating everyone. She is very well educated, and expressed herself without prejudice on the topics discussed. Monet and Van Gogh were opposites. The Monet gardens were lovely but Van Gogh heritage site somewhat dark. Tour was thought provoking in the end. The only negative was we were in Van Gogh bedroom where he died. It was very small , I felt that the number of people in the room at one time was stifling and the upward stairs were steep. We were given the option to stay downstairs but that would have lessened the experience!

This was a great tour that allowed time to enjoy Monet’s home, gardens and lily pad pond. It was about an hour drive outside Paris to arrive. Equally impressive was visiting Van Gogh’s last residence inn and the sights of two where he painted more than 70 of his works before his death. (Also about 45 minutes drive away from Giverny). A film was shown at the residence museum, which was quite well done We had a fabulous guide, Izzy, that was friendly and so knowledgeable. She spoke wonderful English and came with a photo book and other materials, which made the tour have even greater insights. The tour was at a comfortable pace with over an hour for a relaxing lunch (not included). I highly recommend this tour for any art lovers!
