Golden Circle & Friðheimar Greenhouse Luxury Experience

Join us on an elevated Golden Circle journey blending Iceland’s iconic sights with a unique greenhouse-dining experience at Friðheimar. We begin at Kerið Crater, where vivid red lava slopes surround a bright aquamarine lake. Continue to Gullfoss, the powerful two-tiered waterfall famed for misty rainbows, before exploring the Geysir geothermal area, watching Strokkur erupt against a steaming volcanic landscape.

At midday, enjoy a guided tour of the Friðheimar Tomato Farm, learning about sustainable greenhouse farming powered by geothermal energy. Then relax over an all-inclusive lunch served among the vines, featuring their signature tomato soup, fresh bread, and tomato-themed dishes.

Our final stop is Þingvellir National Park, where you can walk between the drifting tectonic plates and explore the historic valley that hosted Iceland’s first parliament. Finish with a smooth, scenic return to Reykjavík.

Kerid Crater

Your adventure starts with a first stop at Kerið, a striking volcanic caldera filled with bright aquamarine water. Surrounded by steep red and black lava slopes, the crater offers one of the Golden Circle’s most dramatic visual contrasts, an elegant first stop with sweeping countryside views.

We had the best time on this tour! The company arranged a private tour for our family and made traveling with two little kids (ages 4 and 2) super easy and enjoyable. The van was extremely nice and we loved our tour guide, Sorin! He was the best! We used this company for 5 days to drive us to different places and Sorin was always on time, with a sparkling clean car (despite our kids making a mess of it the day before), and interesting stories to share to pass the time in between stops. Would highly recommend!
