  Nice way to see different perspectives (evening/nighttime) with a guide. Enjoyed the meal at the end. If you want to see more landmarks, possibly consider a day time tour. Appreciated that a bus was provided

  The only excuse might have been that there was a lot going on in the city that day but... The bus was slightly delayed, and yet we had hardly any time at all in the art gallery before it closed at 4pm. Then it seemed we drove around the same streets a few times before being taken on foot through a market, which was a complete waste of time. The cathedral was lovely, but so little time spent there and the lobby, not the auditorium, of the theatre. No other museum, just buildings from the bus. Very ordinary meal, with no chance to chat with the noise. Not worth the high price. AVOID!

  Unfortunately, we were unable to take part of this experience. We booked our trip on Thursday afternoon for a Saturday 3pm tour; and immediately received confirmation of our booking. On Saturday morning, my wife and I went walking and exploring our local area. But we were diligent in knowing that our tour pick up was scheduled for 3pm from our hotel. As tourists, we are not obligated to stay in our hotel room nor do we have consistent WiFi/internet connection in places where we’re at. While waiting in the lobby at 2:45 (which is when we were initially told to be there); the front desk assistant alerted us that our guide arrived earlier (at 2pm) and said he would wait “another 15 minutes” before leaving. At this time, I was able to check my email and discovered that the tour company sent me an email stating that the pick up for our tour was changed from 3pm and the new pick up time would be at 2pm. How can this company send out a notification a couple of hours prior to pick up and expect that the tourist be available and/or receive this message? And if they did send a message to tourists, wouldn’t it be considerate to wait for a confirmation?? After seeing the email, we called the company and shared our disappointment. Not once did they offer an apology. When asked, “What should we do now?” The representative said, “You can take an uber and meet up with us on the tour….but at YOUR expense!” THE AUDACITY!! Before hanging up with the representative, I informed her that I would be calling my credit card company to reverse this tour charge, especially since it never occurred… nor was it our fault that the tour company changed our tour time without receiving confirmation from us.

  This tour was perfect for the afternoon. The tour guide Sergio is extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant and accommodating. The history of Costa Rica is rich and interesting and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the country and have a good time.

  The tour got off to a very unorganized start. The shuttle was late arriving. When we got to the bus they told us to get on and I went up the stairs to be seated then the guide came and told us to get off the bus and took across the street to a beautiful museum. We had to wait 10 minutes for him to get our tickets before we could proceed.

  Great experience there is not much to see but it is still worth it. The meal was super good and the guide interesting. A way to go around the city, safely.

  The tour guide was not accommodating to English speakers, I always had to remind him there were English speaking clients in the group, the dinner at the end of the tour was horrible and most of the planned stops where closed or not accessible.

  This tour was very educational. Hector made sure to give us everything we needed to be able to enjoy ourselves. I however booked this tour on the same day I flew in so I was super tired so it seemed a bit lengthy for me & my crew. Dinner was okay I definitely recommend wearing sneakers as you will be walking around .
