5.00This was our first trip to London, and a friend who’d been in the last year recommended the “hidden gems tour” which I promptly booked. Then a week before the trip I got nervous because my friend’s family are all fairly short people. But the website said they could accommodate people up to 6’3 comfortably so we went with it and were very comfortable. Chris picked us up at the Borough market on a sunny day in the cutest little red Mini with a sunroof! We all fit fine - with the tallest in our group being 5’11. My husband and I sat in the back seats and with a little coaching by Chris on the easiest way to get in and out of the back seat of the car (very helpful!) we were off and surprisingly comfortable (and I have both back and knee problems, so that’s saying something). Both of us had plenty of leg room - these cars are tiny on the outside, but surprisingly roomy inside. We saw SO many places that we would never have seen otherwise. Chris, our driver, knows the city amazingly well. The mini was able to squeeze through spaces and down roads that regular cars might have a hard time with, and Chris, as someone who grew up in London, had TONS of interesting inside info on the city, its history, and culture. We had our 15 year old son with us, and my husband isn’t hugely fond of travel, but both of them got out of the car at the end of the day and said “That was amazing! Top highlight of the trip!”. It’s hard to say what was the best part - the adorable car, the hidden gems, or the camaraderie of a fun afternoon with a truly nice guy, but whichever it was, I would highly recommend this tour as an addition to your London trip.

5.00Wow - what a fantastic way to explore London. We didn't know what to expect, but this tour exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Chris, was exceptional - everything you want in a guide - generous with time and knowledge, fun, and as flexible as can be. There are so many neighborhoods and hidden gems that you would need weeks to find on your own... and it didn't hurt to be in such a cool vintage mini cooper which Chris navigated flawlessly... don't hesitate - this tour is a ton of fun.

5.00We had a great day visiting sites around the city with Chris. I have been to London a few times before, but zipping through small streets to get unique views of the big sites made it like I was seeing it again for the first time. The tour had a great mix of big sites and some off the beaten path. The car was great. Chris had great stories to share about the history of the city. Definitely the highlight of our trip to London.

5.00This was my first time in London but not the first time for my husband so this tour was a perfect combination of seeing some of the main attractions plus some interesting spots that are lesser known or not as easy to get to. Great for movie buffs who want to see filming locations for example. Being in a Mini Cooper with the top down allowed not just for great views but the ability to move in and out of places more easily and faster than a big bus. Our driver Chris, even reached out beforehand to see if we had any special interests or requests. As an avid photographer he brought us to some great locations for pictures. He was born and raised in London and knew this city like the back of his hand. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had a wonderful tour. It was a great overview of some of the most famous sites in London. Our guides, Chris and Dan, were incredible. They were extremely knowledgeable and were able to hold the attention of three jet lagged teens. I would highly recommend the tour and would request Chris or Dan to guide.
