Old City Gate
The only surviving city gate of ancient Hanoi, O Quan Chuong, also known as the Old City Gate or Old East Gate, was named after a chief of the army to remember him and other Nguyen soldiers who fought against the French. It has a typical architecture of a watch-tower from the Nguyen dynasty and till today, acts as a proof of the struggle.

This food tour was the perfect way to kick off our first day in Hanoi. It gave us a great introduction to the variety of local dishes we could enjoy during our 5-day stay. All eight food items were incredibly tasty, and our guide, Elena, was pleasant and knowledgeable in explaining each one. My personal favorites were the egg coffee and Bun Cha. It was a delightful and worthwhile experience.

It was great! Apple was very informative and we got to try a lot of food we would have never experienced on our own. This tour also helped us understand some of the dining norms in Vietnam that helped us the rest of our trip.
