Montmartre
Iconic district in the north of Paris, Montmartre is nicknamed the “Village”. Famous for the great number of artists mainly painters who lived in its steep cobble-stone streets, Montmartre is currently one of the most visited areas in the City of Lights. This is why we offer to show you the real local side of Montmartre taking through the little local streets.
Moulin Rouge
Our tour begins opposite a quintessential Parisian landmark: the Moulin Rouge windmill. We’ll start the climb up the hill, spotting the café where the film Amélie was shot and Van Gogh’s home as we go. Our first stop will be at one of Paris’ best bakers, winner of many prestigious prizes for its bread and pastries. Here we will taste one of France’s most famous patisserie: a deliciously buttery croissant. Is there any better way to start your morning in Paris?

Our guide Benjamin was excellent—knowledgeable, humorous and engaging. His candid and transparent demeanor made us comfortable from the start. He presented information in a fresh and interesting manner that grabbed our attention and was highly interactive. We truly enjoyed the tour itself, and feel it was especially great because of Benjamin!

The walking tour went at an easy pace and Max shared a lot of interesting history about Montmartre. He was careful to watch for everyone too. I recommend him highly.

The history of Montmartre is very fascinating. And the croissants were delicious! You do need to be able to walk hills.
