This is one of Oahu's most popular hikes! If you want a good work out, it is a must-do while on the island!
This is a very active hike. If you do not work out regularly back home then I would recommend a different hike :)
This is Oahu's most famous hike and I am sure you have seen it all over Instagram! It is an old tramway straight up KokoHead that takes you to one of the most beautiful lookouts on the east side of Oahu. This is a tough hike, so make sure you are up for the challenge!
We will pick you up, drive you out to the trail, hike with you up and down, as well as take amazing pictures! We can spend as much time on the top as you'd like as I know you are going to want to take in the view!
This should take about 3 hours in total. 30 mins of driving there, 2 hours of hiking, and 30 mins of driving back. If you'd like to stop and get food on the way home we can do that too!

What To Expect
I will pick you up, transport you to where the trail starts, and hike with you to the top of KokoHead Crater. At the top is an incredible view of the entire east side of the island. I hope you're ready for a good workout cause it's a lot of steps to the top!

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic experience. A must do if in Honolulu, you hike up 1048 steps (railroad ties) to the top of an extinct volcano. Our guide was great, he communicated constantly with us, picked us up from the cruise port, along the way he pointed out points of interest. We are both 65 but still and it to the top and took in the most fantastic views. I was slower than the wife and he went back and forth between the two of us encouraging us to the top. He was the absolute best...

5.00This was a great day! Brian was a great guide and motivator during a challenging climb. There was good communication in advance to make sure we were ready to go. He also made sure we documented the climb through amazing pictures and stats. The tour would be a great choice for anyone who is physically fit and wants a challenge.

5.00Wow, just WOW!!! Our tour guide - Brian - contacted us prior to the tour and took his time to ensure we had everything we needed, he really looked out for us in this way. On the day of the tour, again he contacted us to make sure we were certain of the meeting point and advised he was going to bring extra little buts to ensure we could just focus on the tour. His attention to detail and care was bay far the best we experienced here. As for the trip up and down Koko Head. Simply amazing!!! The views, the scenery and the information Brian shared with us was incredible. The climb was tough but so so worth it!!!! The views from the top were stunning. We noticed that some people were doing multiple trips up and down, hats off to them. If you want an amazing view of Hawaii, to be well looked after by the tour guide and want to have some exercise, this is the trip for you. Cannot wait to come back and do it again.

5.00Brian was a GREAT guide! He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The hike wasn’t easy for me at 62 but I took my time and made it to the top. My daughter in law got dizzy on the trail and Brian ran back and forth between the two of us to make sure we were both ok. He took pictures of me at the top and celebrated that I made it. It’s an awesome view, well worth the hike. You couldn’t have a better guide.
